My Favorite's to get you started - buy your favorite colors!
I recomend you use and mix your favorites. If you want an orange and pink Whale - go for it! No rules or limits to what you can create.
Acrylic Paints - any brand you have will work or if you need to purchase paints buy the primary colors for mixing and a few of your favorite colors. I typically use Golden fluid acrylics, DickBlick.com acrylics, Liquitex full body acrylics. I mix and match what ever I have, what ever brand you buy will work fine.
- I recomend a set of Primary Colors + Black and White to get you started - When you go online or walk into an art store you will see lots of variation of these colors and really you can use any of them in the color families below for this course. I am providing a basic list - please buy and use your favorite colors and brands.

- Yellow -Cadmium Yellow Medium
- Plus Black & White to get started

Brushes - I use every thing from DIY wall paint brushes and traditional artist brushes: Round brush size selection and some flat brushes you will see me use in this video series. I do not buy expensive brushes because I am hard on my tools.

Canvas - I buy prestressed canvas of all sizes - to me bigger is better! More space to play. I will be working on a canvas but anything will work, you can paint on anything you like - art journal, cardboard, what ever moves you! I am using a Blick brand 24x48" Premier stretched canvas, traditional profile.

Pallet - I use paper plates.
Water container - I use old recycled jars.
Rag - to wipe your brushes and canvas when needed.
Spray bottle - for wetting your paints on your pallet to keep them flowing when you take a break.
Cotton buds - for making little circles.
Optional - Flower of Life Stencil I use it in the course, it makes a beautiful background texture not to mention creation energy!
I use supplies that I have on hand, you can see I mix all sizes and brands of supplies - what ever is on sale works perfectly - do not worry if your art store or Amazon does not have these brands just buy another!
